Any program DIE YET from the new VISA CB rule?
 

Visa's newest CB % rule kicked in on Oct 1. Any news on any program casualties yet? Or are we looking at around Jan 2004 for the fines to start hurting?

Jesus Clicks was shut down.

But we still have the Jesus Dialer and Jesus Cash.

I started a new program, joined, and then charged back before I launched it.

They didn't like that.

I think the 1% is for a month period so we will see people get on probation in November maybe.

as per the VisaNet document on this, there is a 6 month period to get your billing systems in order

It starts off with warnings, then over the 6 month period the fines start rolling in and worsening

So, IMO, I think the pain of the 1% decision (relasting to Visa) will start to kick in in the first quarter 2004

Until then, we will continue to see a high level of Bravado from many playa's
