Friggin Outlook Express

Have any of you encountered problems while using outlook express for your emails?

I keep getting an error that says my server has terminated the action. This is the 3rd time this week. I cant understand why its doing this. Im sure the guys at Webair are going nuts cause of me. Lord knows I have had to call them several times already because of this.

So what do you think?

A few og you have emailed me and I have not been able to respond. Please don't think I am ignoring you, or that i have forgotten you. I will respond to all of the emails as soon as I get this email problem fixed.

Get Outlook. Express is the Devil and shouldn't be used.

I didnt know there was a difference. I have always used this program. Its really pissing me off though. The guy at webair is telling me I should use something called eudora. Have you ever heard of this program? Is it good?

What he said. And don't let Outlook get over 15,000 emails in it or it will go nuts and make your life hell.

LOL nah...I prefer to "go fuck myself" lol

Yeah I am pretty good about keeping up with my emails, so that hasnt been an issue. It just keeps trying to recieve but NOTHING comes through. It eventually just times out.

i see no reason it would be outlook expresses problem. Either a server problem or a misconfigured setting.

Heather Hamptons 10-15-2003 04:05 PM

I thought the same thing, so i called Webair and they cannot figure out what the problem is. It just keeps happening. It started about a week or so ago and every few days its does this. I even removed the account and redid it. Ive tried everything I can think of. I am clueless. *scratches head*

Try using port 26 instead of 25. Make sure webair have an exim mailprogram running on that port.

:2 cents:

Norton can cause this problem..

I get this when using MailWasher sometimes.. Just close Outlook down and then open it and all emails will be sent as normal. You may have to go off line and then on again to clear it as well :)

I use Mcafee. I originally thought that it was interfearing with outlook but thats not what it is. I have tried everything. I didnt try port 26 though. its worth a shot. Im telling you. This is soooooooo frustrating for me. I cant resopnd to my emails nor can I receive them. i have to read my mail by going directly to my server. Thats a friggin pain.
I swaer..there are more problems with computers every day. THey never work the way you want them to. They have a friggin mind of their own.
