WTF? Is something up with CCBill for the past couple of days - or is it just me? My sales are fucking PATHETIC. I noticed that one of the "New Subscription"" emails I received today, was someone from CCBill doing a test sign-up.

They're down. Must be the time of year or something. I don't know. But not of the 'norm.

Once and for all ill explain whats happening

CCBill is live and kicking they make money only when you make money.

The surfers on the other hand are getting smarter, they know what site is a BS cookie cutter crap site and what site is real, they can tell by the tours etc.

I don't do 30K a day by giving surfers same old 3 page tour leading into a members area full of shit plugins of 1996.

Ummmm...my sites have been up for over three years. The content is immense and consists of all original, high quality, niche material which is updated at least once per week. Maybe it's the time of year, the position of the moon or perhaps something is up with CCBill - because the sites are top rate.

I think in this situation you are incorrect. Skitten would not be complaining if the signups gradually dropped off, which would be the situation if you were correct. These people with Scrub Bill are noticing sharp dropoffs in sales due to either database problems or scrubbing (more likely)

well I took some time to read about 50 posts skitten made, pretty much it tells the story

as far as scrubbing goes, it is very important to remember that all billing companies do not make money by charging you a monthly fee or by charging you 10K to signup to use their servicem they make their living by taking a % off each signup, it is in their best interest to do what it takes to:

A) Get as many signups as possible

B) Stay in business (requires scrubbing or pretty much you wont have a merchant account to use)

They definately go too far with the scrubbing. I had to switch from them to Vertotel when the Visa regs changes took place, as I don't have a US presence. My signups jumped by a very healthy percentage and have stayed that way ever since, with no chargeback issues either. I am thankfull that I don't get those dreaded decline emails anymore..

glo-bill had even less declines then verotel and so did WSB, I remember the posts about it.

Like I said they don't scrub because they hate you they scrub because that is what will keep them in business long term.

My signups with ccbill have been through the roof since last Sunday.


But then maybe that's because I'm stealing all of the ones from the people in here that say they're signups are down!:1orglaugh

I tend to think CCBill scrubs too hard but some of this has to be them even with summer slowdown over. Now if they can quit ripping the webmaster off with their damn fees I would push some more of their shit.

Smallish stats so a bigger sample would be nice.
