To 'follow their petty rules' just means 'initiate the file transfer from
the other end'. Would you prefer they packet filtered TCP SYN inbound to enforce their AUP? Of course that is ridiculous, now, isn't it. And they recognize this, so they dont (and because it breaks legitimate services where connections are to be accepted to the @home end after some authentication process has been completed). |
