I've noticed a big drop in conversions lately, has anyone else been experiencing this?

I know their sites sell good, has PK's biller (Paycom) been scrubbing more than usual?

Pornkings has been up for me lately... you should drop them a mail

conversions have gotten a little worse but they are still my number 1 sponsor cause my other sponsors also got worse.

I noticed it the past few days with all of them.

I would drop Roger at Pornkings.com an email or call them.
they always help

hmmmm interesting. My mailer traffic converts at 1:40 - 1:75 range with them. Off course my database is synched and I do scrubs via scripts. Your results may vary.

cool1g, what kind of traffic is that? Seems under 15% are clicking to the 2nd page, seems particularly low.

Wow, I think you should get a prize. But that will also make some ppl look twice at pornkings if that ratio is an oddity and not the norm like at some sponsors.

the Jungle Hair traffic was an experiment with buying traffic from sex.com and findwhat.com...

i had bought gallery spot for a 'hairy bush' gallery and did 2 sales on 675 first page....much better.

hence trying to send targeted PPC SE traffic....no idea why it did so bad...oh well...another experiment gone awry!

Same traffic with the "Free Trial" program.

WiredGuy - looks like DirtySouth's 2nd page click ratio is pretty similar to mine...

i always use first page clicks to compare unless the program doesn't provide that info.

what a difference:) i even sent the clicks from findwhat to the traffic-back program which pays 5 bucks less. With the consoles, it was a lot worse.

most of findwhat's porn traffic comes from ultimate search's expired domains. Sometimes the search listings are listed on the root page without the surfer even searching. It's like paying 8-10 cents a click for 404 traffic.
The google numbers are nuts though:)

While that's true, Findwhat you can usually acquire at 1-2c (if you got grandfathered) so it works out being about the same ROI even though Findwhat's traffic quality isn't as good.

It takes more then 1000 hits to get a good gauge

the next 1000 might get 4 sales i would test sponsors with about 3k now and days to get a good idea.

my numbers were seriously out of tune with stats posted here.

I just chatted with Roger for a while by phone - while we didn't come up with a good reason for my poor conversion ratios i did come away with some things to change and tweak that will hopefully help. Well see in a couple of weeks. :thumbsup

I'm curious - if that's google adwords traffic how do you get around the dialler popup on pornkings or is that just non-US people that pops up for?

That's not my adwords stats, but i did use adwords for a little bit and sent it to a porn kings f.p.a. It did o.k, but i couldn't keep the ctr min which i think now is 1%. The prod. was awesome. I couldn't send that much traffic 'cause of the ctr, but the clicks i got clicked on an avg of 5 sites. Then later they suspended my ad because of the country chicks site even though adwords is full of those non beast farm type sites. whatever:321GFY Adwords was just a pain in the ass for me. I would get like 2 e-mails a day bitching about something.
It's ashame I can't multiply the little traffic i send them. I tried with a few ppc, but conversion fell hard.
btw, it's not a dialer, it's just some toolbar/adware thing. I hate it and think it's some real nasty software, but the sites still seem to convert with most traffic.

Thanks - that's worth knowing. I make a habit of never letting stuff like that install so wasn't sure. Looked like a dialler though :)
Still - if you're not going to shave people I suppose you gotta make the money somehow. Amazing how many people will bitch about something like that but still expect $25+ payouts :)

It does not effect the sale trust me if it did I would remove it asap. I tested it many times to be certain.

But if it does make it difficult to get listed on SE then let me know and I can remove them. the more info I have from webmasters the better.

We pay $25 on a trial for a month so you can imagine how many cancel before they become a full member.
the box is for our one way messanger so we can advertise to them later without having to email.

Because of the number of webmasters who just signed up and wanted the One way messanger removed from the sites.

I'm going to remove it today from all the sites. and just put a banner up so its not as aggresive even though I know it doesn't effect sales. Webmasters are my first priority.

And we were on for what? about a half hour. In my eyes well worth it. and thank god you got a sale that fast. LMAO

why not just remove all the forced downloads on affiliate links and keep them on the main website.

did you remove just the messanger thing, and is the toolbar and favorites thing still there?

i visisted one of your sites yesterday and noticed several things being installed, then i was being hit with popup ads from the programs every couple of minutes, then one of the programs was giving me an error, i was quite amazed actually.

actually the most annoying thing was that it messed up my toolbar configuration in ie, ad aware took care of the rest.

it's hard to believe all that junk doesn't affect conversions, but i don't doubt you.

I am removing the forced download.
