Do small girls make small babies or do they just get fatter?
I was just thinking about this... Do taller women have larger, bigger babies? Some of these really tiny women -- you have to wonder if a) it's more painful for them to have children or b) do they gain a lot more weight or c) are the babies just smaller...?
:helpme |
A lot of factors contribute to the birth weight of the child, not just the size of the mother. My ex-sister in law was 80 pounds soaking wet and had children who were 11 pounds and up. Myself, I'm not little, but my children are small.. I've seen some HUGE women with REALLY tiny babies..
Smoking, diet, genetics, etc, they all play a factor. |
A question that does need answering, then again maybe not.

2) fire up BLAST 3) match against your own dna 4) try her against various mice if that fails, read the kama sutra's "size" section... the explanation of the highest union. |

well my fiance is petite, and we just had a baby boy who was 7 pds 9oz.
Her tummy was all baby, had to have a c-section, he was too big to have any other way. So petite women can have big babies, just how to handle the delivery |
LOL! Small girls are making different children as they differ at big girls. Variety of size is unimittable.
Due to fat: It has nothing common with size of a girl. Some girls are finding themselves pregnant on 2-4 month! Their stomaches could be still normal and they can still have menstrual period running. |
The most significant factor affecting birth weight is the mothers birth weight.
Big babies grow up and have big babies. There was an article in the economist about this in september. |
I am 5 feet 9 inches and my first child was 6 1/2 pounds which is
small. My husband is 6 ft so I suspect that is why she was smaller while my brother is 6 foot 7 inches and his first child was about 10 pounds. |

Fly,
Well that and also the baby was in "transverse" position. sideways. Its the most rare position a baby can be in. |
I hope for my sake whenever I do have a baby it ends up on the smaller side (but healthy of course). I only weigh about 105 lbs. :helpme

This is her at 6 months --- she is 5'10, but very skinny before she was pregnant. Defninitely not fatter, all baby there. |

LOL, maybe the baby just looked relatively small. |
