I swear I have always wanted to do a peltier cooler almost exactly like that. My idea was to get two metal fittings about the size of a can so they wrap completely around the can, mount two peltiers with chip fans and some arctic silver 2 (it's three now) and stick in a warm can.

I was also thinking about making a bar that had bigass peltiers in it so you could put your glass on the bar and it would stay cold.

I am hardcore.

Well, not entirely true. It's supposed to be consumed at room temperature ... in Ireland. So it's going to be cold. I wouldn't want to drink Guiness at room temperature in Australia, in the middle of summer.
