Can peeps please give me some idea of what bandwidth per number of hits I require?

I'm a newb.. well, newb to TGP building. Learnt how to do it yesterday, and the TGP will be ready in 3 or 4 days.. :thumbsup

You will know all this in hindsight

start out with a run of the mill hosting plan, and go from there, you will get the feel of what you need to buy from that in a short amount of time

and ofcourse if for some reason your shit goes nuts get some rock solid hosting as its called for

It all depends on your design. However, the mere fact that you are asking this means you probably won't use all that much :glugglug

Rock solid hosting eh...? I'm guessing thats big bucks.. honestly bro I think I'll get some nice traffic size wise. Is it worth the investment? For good hosting if needs be?

Can you just give me some lame assed table as to some idea of what i can expect.. i.e.

best thing to do is to start off with some small hosting plan like 5GB/Month, then start submitting movie galleries. Since you're new you should put 20-25 SMALL clips (20-30 seconds each) per gallery just so the big TGPs will list you. Don't post anything over 25 movies clips though, wouldn't want to give too much away - then what's there to buy, right?

Buy a domain ($10) and a basic hosting package ($20 monthly) and you're set.

Depends, tgp submitter pros burn 100's of GB/month. Newbie tgp submitters burn probably around 10 - 50GB/month.

Sorry peeps, coz im such a fuckin newbie i think i confused u.. what i meant, was im making a big ass site linking to already hosted galleries, a tgp portal. Not actually hosting my own pics and movies.. so will a standard plan do? BUT I am definately looking at big traffic..

If you're only linking to sponsor hosted galleries, a basic hosting plan should be good, as long as your main page isn't too graphically heavy.
