1) Content management software must be seamless with your design

2) intelligent updates

3) Content updates with pre release hype

4) Content that retain (obviously)

Keep the layout/design simple. Very simple. Trust me :thumbsup

All this crap about chats, plug-ins, live cams, games, etc.. it's all BS. The only reason you would need this stuff is if your content is not doing the job. The customer is not going to stay because you have "cool games". Like I said above, keep it as SIMPLE as possible and it WILL pay off.

exclusivity is big - but not just content...

Give them something they can't get anywhere else but in your site... times three or four. Taste is a big factor too. Someone may get sick of milf's after a month or two, so give them the opportunity to switch to another site on your network.

Live Personal interaction is the best... Thats why I'd guess that most single model sites keep their members longer :) I still have members from day 1 of my site opening ( 10 monthes ago) despite a couple server changes and 1 major processor change;-

Sure , there are some there just for content... but, the personal Live interaction on Cam, in emails, etc tends to make even those stick around for more :)

whatever they want. if its a small paysite obviously a 24 hour chatroom support is out of the question though. if i ran a paysite i would probably have my customer service emails automatically forward another copy to my 2way pager that way if im not near a computer and its an easy question i can answer it anywhere.
