I got lucky, a friend of mine know a couple guys who took my x-box, opened it up, switched out the hard drive with a 120G one, soldered in a mod chip, and loaded about 80 games onto the drive...now when i start up my x-box an operating system comes up that allows me to load any of those games and play them...i can also rent games at blockbuster and rip them to the hard drive using the operating system as well, its kinda set up like the old windows explorer, except its called "box-splorer". fucking great stuff.

How did you fix the 220-110 issue? Is the cable interchangable?

There's a ton of converters fro that in any hardware store. Just make sure you get one that holds up to 300 W, XBox is pretty damn powerful.

Anyone know if you can buy premodded Xboxes? Or better yet, anyone know a place in Ontario that does it for you?

I'm sure as hell not going to take a soldering iron to my xbox. I'd wreck it for sure.

My sentiments exactly. I just did a search for xbox mods, and I'm like:
