I'd say around 3K but it depends on what the term is. I own and have owned domains with anywhere from 20 - 2K Overture results and the average seems to be around 1/3 - 1/4 of ther Overture number per day but some fall far short of that and some do much better.

Oh, yeah, if you're looking for domains with smallish Overture results (10-40) I have tons and register more every day :)

Sadly, ICQ stopped working for me over a month ago. You can add me if you want: 8106140 I'll reinstall ICQ and see if it's started working, again.

is there a multiple that can be used with Overture search suggestion tool to get an approximate number of searches for a term for all the search engines? Guess a rough method is to figure out what % of total web searches Overture controls.

if the Overture tool says 100,000 searches on 'keyword terms' how many is a good guess that same phrase/word gets on Google?

Anybody know of a chart that breaks down the total web searches across the top engines - pie chart showing the % each engine gets?

thanks

Bump, great question.
Also, any other "suggestion tools" at other s.e.'s like what Overture has.

aside from several other issues that may affect type-in rate as extrapolated from a keyword search, generally assume 10% of the SE figures per reporting period
