There are. And since it isn't a protected profession, anyone can do it.
All you need to do is put up a site with a large load of educational stuff, regular articles, and charge money for answering specific questions. Since people generally are embarrassed to see their dr with these sorts of things, the amount of business you get is very good indeed.

If you wanna try it, be aware that you'll have to spend a few thousand bucks for relevant medical and psychological books. While "therapist" is an unprotected profession, it would be unethical to give people advice on very important issues without having good backing.

Well, some people on here might. In hindsight, it probably was a bad idea to post this all, because undoubtedly some people without any qualifications whatsoever will see this as an easy way to make money and will ruin a life or two in the process.

The issue is that people who are only in it for a few quick bucks or have too little knowledge about the subject at hand will most likely give flawed advice, something that can really cause damage (both physical as well as psychological) to the people they give advice to.

Simple example: erectile dysfunction can have a number of causes, among which are things ranging from lack of confidence to potentially life-threatening heart diseases. Give the wrong advice, and someone could die.

This is not about you.

I agree if SexTherapy.com had the impression when visiting - it was an "advice type site"...

SexTherapy.com is not SexTherapy.ORG according to original "netiquette" of domain registrations. SexTherapy.com like WhiteHouse.com - and can be whatever it clearly states it can be.

Notice that whitehouse.com now redirects to whitehousesex.com. Apparently they don't share your optimistic view of the amber alert law.

Your domain is probably OK since it has sex in the title though.
