Anyone know what the conversion of actual domain type-ins is to search type-ins for domain names (such as xyz.com - 400 searches)?

Like if California.com got 400 searches per month in Overture, what does that translate to in per-day typeins for the actual domain?

I think that's really impossible to tell. A lot of the time, its the webmaster or automated script that is performing a search for domain.com and that really skews the result to make a real forecast of the traffic. My recommendation would be to try out more than one suggestion tool first, like Findwhat's and Overture, then make a prediction from there.

you need 300 Overture to equal 1 actual type in.

I wouldn't go by overture results on domain. It's query scripts running.
