So what's it like? Is it really so romantic?

Lived there for 3 days... Yes. Like the stories say. But the traffic killed me. :)

Been there a few times...I can tell you this.
They dont appriciate that you speak english with them.

Well DUH! if you go to a store and ask for something in english, they sure won't appreciate it... a lot of people do that and i find it fucking stupid. On the other way, young people (not ALL OF THEM!) appreciate talking to American.

TheFLY, it's romantic if you make it romantic... there sure are lots of nice places to go visit. But like i always say... 3-4 days in Paris is enough... after that, you get bored.

Maybe that would be because they speak French in France.

I lived near Paris 20 years... And yes , it's a romantic city.
I know live near Monaco, on the french riviera - not as romantic as Paris, but there is a lot of casino :winkwink:

U're mostly right... Ppl born in Paris are really assholes... I live in Paris but i'm born by the French Riviera (near Nice) and sometimes it's quite hard to communicate with real parisians ppl... but don't compare French parisian ppl to French "out of Paris" ppl, there's really a difference :thumbsup
