Imperial vs. Metric
 

What are the reasons for the US not switching to the metric system? Is there any political desicion behind this?

In this fucked up country we use both.....

hmm..maybe so.

Only one reason... tradition. People aren't used to the metric system, and don't want to spend the time to get accustomed to it.

what sucks here in canada is that some things are in the metric system and some things arent and it annoys the shit outta me as a swede!! :feels-hot

The D.O.E. put out the order in the 60's that we were to be switched to metric in school but THAT went over well. lol They gave it up. I can work in dimensional metric but couldn't tell you how much a metric tonne is or how much in a liter. :1orglaugh

Hopefully they won't change for at least 20 moe yrs and I won't have to worry about it! :winkwink:
