I think the moment that I realised how good M$ was... was way back when he drove the ford powered car the Benaton (sp?)...

I just remember a race he was leading but had transmission problems.. the car was stuck in 4th or 5th gear ... he made 2 pit stops and still got 3rd or forth place stuck in one gear... most guys would have parked the car but he kept going.. and did an outstanding drive.

when I saw that I knew he was great driver... and now that he is gone...where is that team now? you can hate him all you want but what other drivers out there can do what he has done with the cars he had to work with? I mean where was the great Red rocket before he climbed in the drivers seat? Then in one year he turned that team into a championship wining team... There is no argueing with that kind of talent.

are you crazy? have you followed his entire F1 carear? he drove the only v-8 powered car, to 2 of his now 6 championships... His Ferrari was crap when he joined that team... I think it had been 20 years since their last championship.. and he brought them one the very next year and a few more since... you put M$ in any team and they will win , plane and simple... beside that he has broken every record in F-1 that I can think of, (except the most dnfs and loses)

Senna was a great driver aswell, but M$ was knocking on his door and would have been some great races if he wasn't killed.. but I think M$ would have beat him overall.

Uhh no. He won two championships with Benaton. Ferrari hadn't won a championship in a LONG time before Schumacher came around. You're an idiot. I'd love to see someone else win, just to make things more interesting, but he's without a doubt, the greatest driver in the world at the moment. He's up there with Fangio and Senna, for sure.

That was amazing....it was the spanish gp and he has stuck in 5th for most of the race. Best ever? Maybe. He certainly is in the debate with Fangio, Stewart, Prost and Senna.
