Opt-in service question
 

If i would provide a service where you can easelly collect targetted emails on your webiste double opt-in would you use it?
I'm thinking a script where everyone can setup their own template and setup own collect box and put it on any website. It would be able to send to your list every week or so with free pics or whatever you want.

Not really........ i don't see the point when webmasters aren't able to see/download their own list. In my progrma they would able to download their list to sell it and/or view it to see statistics, etc...
Anyway...... if you feel the need for a new project, hit me up, i got the tools.

I don't think that there are alot of people capable of developing sucha system in short notice.
And my idea goes actually alot further with statistics, and other neat features :-)

I would like to provide this service for a monthly fee. In return the webmaster gets a full functional double opt-in system and don't have to worrie about spam or a server or anything anymore. Just put the box up and start to collect and do mailings, that's practicly it.

Just a query on this.

How would you write this into a terms of agreement for the user?

As your giving the webmaster the right to sell, rent and use the surfers email.

It's his list........ he can do all he wants with it but not from my server. My server only provides the double opt-in collect and the mailing and subscription service. If he downloads a list to sell it the server would delete the list for example. Still kinda brainstorming on this.
