If you take into consideration all the Fraud, cheating and charge backs involved with adult processing, they probabally havent lost any considerable % of biz at all. Just my :2 cents: :2 cents:

I don't agree. It wasn't that long ago that reported fraud from online auctions was as high as 15%. With the adult biz being in the single digits it seems to me they should scrap auctions and only process adult

Thats what I was going to say next.
Probably their biggest margins are done using this method.

Now you're talking..........the classic case of the fucker or the fuckee ??

webseth 10-11-2003 10:19 AM

paypal lost money on every 'high risk' transaction. if it cost <2.9% to pay for adult/gaming/etc processing then ibill would charge the same.

all it took was big daddy ebay to come in and balance the books.

hahaha it always entertains me to see that people here actually
think adult is a big earner for processors.. well it's not..

actaully.. considering the trouble that comes with adult transaction our business is like a parasite that needs to be
taken care of..

We got paid a couple of weeks after they closed us. But then with only one CB for $140 in 18 months, maybe they thought we were a safe bet.

I think the decision was done on the basis of some of the sites that were putting business through them and not a finacial one.
