why the fuck would you want to see something different than your surfers see?

i think a monkey would have a better chance of flinging poo at the screen, and rendering something closer to what i built than IE does. it couldn't render its way out of a paper sack. this is really simple cut-and-dry code.

doesn't make sense. somebody didn't read w3c when they built their browser, apparently.

skillfull 10-11-2003 05:58 AM

iroc409 10-11-2003 05:58 AM

well, the problem lies in that mozilla is much more strict on its code, and follows the standard a little more. with ie, you can throw just about anything together and it works.

but for some reason, this time it doesn't.

it also seems to handle a lot of widths and things differently. i might have to rebuild a bunch of the graphics files and everything.

i don't really want to post it, since it;s a new site and all, but if anyone's interested in taking a look at it, feel free to hit me up.

i think i'm just going to start over with the code, and see if writing the same thing fixes it.

iroc409 10-11-2003 07:08 AM

fixed. that's some crazy shit.

I agree, who cares if you can see the site on a browser that only 1% of your customers use.
I hate Microsft too but dont shoot yourself in the foot.
