Chess - Random thought #75826
A general rule is to play according to your own plan, to play your own game regardless of how the opponent plays. To act rather than react.
Now think about the board of life. |
you high?
|
i agree, at least in terms of chess. however, your opponents mistakes must also be taken advantage of...
|
chess gets boring
whenever i play, i get impatient and play fast without thinking |

But you don't think it applies to life? |
hmm, i guess i don't think of life in terms of chess. i always play chess to win. in life, i'm not *only* interested in 'winning'...

you cant possibly play a game of chess and have the entire game worked out before heading to the board, you MUST determine moves based on opponents moves. I do see how the general aspects of the game relate to reality though. |
That's interesting. I guess I play to win, too, but I'd like to think that I also play for the experience, to learn a bit and for the enjoyment of it.
SO, to me, yeah, it's a lot like life. Plus, you learn a lot about the people you play with.:thumbsup |
Play the board dude...look at the present situation and make your move based on how you want to mold the board.
