I have a dumb question regarding batch image renaming
All I need to do is rename folders full of images but I need part of the image name to be a series of numbers
like image_001_thumb.jpg, image_002_thumb.jpg etc. What can I use? :helpme |
ACDSee does it for me.

Do a search on google for 'the rename' or 'rename it' :thumbsup

Photoshop does it for me...

Thanks guys! Dowloaded, tested, and worked perfectly.

for future reference. PhotoShop will do that as well.

SuperJPG is great and does it all.

Yeah a long time ago the guy we had programming walked me through it and it was confusing as hell.... apparently he was confused too because he proceded to do the rest of it all and the thumbs just looked like shit.
This is going to be way better.... now to redo all the members areas. This should be a blast :Oh crap |
I know it's past when you needed it, but for future situations, I use ThumbsPlus. Had the damn program for 2+ years before I knew it did that (and Ryan is the one who told me. :winkwink: )

I've been using a free program called FileRenamer forever. Simple and gets the job done. You can tell it to start with a prefix and begin numbering from wherever you want.
