Need Advice On Partnering With Models For Single Girl Sites

Hey Everyone,

Ok, I need some advice from those of you that are partnered with and run single girl amateur sites.

I have a friend that wants an amateur site and wants to partner with me running it. What kind of terms should I offer her? She would like to be the "owner" of the site and have complete ownership of the content. I would help set it up and run it for 50% of net after expenses.

But if she owns the site & content what would stop her from taking the whole site/content and moving it over to a big affiliate program like LightSpeed if given the chance and basically screw me out of the time/money I invest? What kind of terms should I include so that I'm not out of all the time and effort put into this?

I was thinking of first just opeing this as an AdultCheck Gold site so that I save the $750 CC signup fee and can launch it really quikly and easily.

Anyways any advice on this would be greatly appreciated!

:thumbsup

Dont do it :-)

Ive seen very few of these partnerships work out. The only way that they do work out well is to keep the model away from any of the business aspect. Then you run into the "I can make more money on my own" drama.

I, being an amateur model myself, would not run another girl's site, nor would I partner for someone else to run my own site. Ive seen it go bad every time.

There is no really good way to split things up. You are basically doing the vast majority of the work for very little of the payoff.

NEVER, NEVER DO IT... pay her for her pics and bring her back

There is a great way to split profits, it's called affiliate programs :)

I don't see anything wrong with developing the site, and earning 50/50 through the processor's affiliate infrastructure. But with one caveat - negotiate the ownership of the domain name as that is where traffic goes

you should to make an agreement where you share every thing :
Including the content , domain , profit.
Good luck ..

Wait until three months from now when she decides she doesn't want to do it anymore and you have no pics or anything to show for your time spent.

true, if you can pay her and thats it, if not make sure you've got at least a 6 months contract so she wont say bye when the site starts converting...

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Guess it does look like it's not really worth it unless I have more control/owndership of the site.

This girl is a fun :Graucho friend of mine so I figure I'll just slap an AVS preimum site together for her just so she has something to promote herself. But if she's wants to go to the next level she'll need to give me a full 50% ownership in everthing.

Problem is this girl is too smart to just sell me her pics and have me own the site fully plus she's a friend so I'd feel guilty taking advantage.

Thanks again everyone. If anyone has any other ideas let me know :-)

Try having a contract made. Make it legal, and you or she would have th purchase the other persons half.
