New marketing idea (maybe)
 

I don`t know if anyone has tried this or if it is possible to do, but I think it is a cool idea.

'Membership gift certificates'

So the surfers signs up to your site and opts to send the membership to a friend, brother, etc.

They gift recipient receives an e-mail with a e-card, message and there log in details.

After the membership period (set by the gift buyer depending how much they want to spend), the recipient has the option to continue membership by providing their cc info or its cancelled automatically.


Better than sending another set of spanners.

I've seen something similar to that before.
One place even sent out actual debit 'type' cards for the person to hand out ... I thought that was inventive simply for the fact that the original person would probably NOT charge back their membership lol
