Ok Aus put in a less than stellar performance tonight, but they still have a chance.

Anyhow I am hoping for a New Zealand - England final. That would be a fantastic game.

Aus and Sth Africa could sneak into the final, but it's not looking likely. :) Then again, don't forget that NZ Chokes in the World cup and England's season was over a while ago. This is their offseason.

JamesL 10-10-2003 07:55 AM

England all the way baby.

Aus are only good at cricket now:Graucho

myjah 10-10-2003 08:03 AM

Sausage 10-10-2003 08:07 AM

Actually I heard that the US had a fairly good team with some upset potential!

I never realised they played Rugby much in the US.

Most colleges have a rugby team in the US. High School rugby is now taking off in the South and as the kids start to play at an early age, the skill set of the US will only increase. Give the US a few years before we become a legit nation with a good rugby team.

if it was the actual finals maybe but that's 2004, but i wouldn't call the qualifying an event exactly. but i get your point.
