Maybe to someone with a few brain cells left this evening. But to my completely fried mind tonight it's totally cool. =]

Havnt heard of it or used it ... is it like bryce where you click the oject you want to make and it places it for you and you render it and call your self a 3d graphics artist?

For simple shit like I just did, yeah. If you wanna be a real 3D artist you can build objects and complex scenes with animations, etc... In that context it would be like a simple version of Lightwave or Maya so I guess you could say it's the in between product to Bryce and the more beefy shit.

I like to use programs like this just for quick wallpapers (I'll put some motivational text over it) or when I'm doing something for a fantasy game setting then I might spend a bunch more time and do something that actually takes some skill. I've not gotten good enough with Lightwave or Maya yet to do the kind of amazing or photo-realistic stuff you see in movies or TV but then again I'm too busy running a business to be the geek at the desk all the time too. =]

Or maybe I'm too busy posting here...

I've seen that software too. The learning curve on any of the advanced stuff is pretty steep and I have so little time it's tough to try things that I haven't already dug into a little. It looks like another great package though. It's too bad there's not really any use for 3D talents in our industry - at least not consistently enough to warrant getting real good with it. It's way more fun than 2D stuff especially when you get into animation sequences.

btw if anyone is interested, price is negotiable.

I agree 100% with you that it's more fun than 2D. When I was making this site (I didn't make the content, just the site, my 3d skills are just basics, enough for that logo etc) I really enjoyed browsing thru the content I got. Lots of pretty realistic pics, and animations (I got low-res which were saved as animated gifs) beat the hell out of those trailer mpegs other sites give out.
