Who watched the Democratic Presidential debates tonight and
...what are your thoughts. Specifically how well do you think General Clark did in this...his...second debate?
One amusing moment...Senator Kerry...when speaking about the availability of prescription drugs for Seniors (in answer to a question from the audience)...said there are one of two things you can do...one is to hire Rush Limbaugh's ex house keeper or make me President. |
They are all fucking idiots

That's the great thing about democracy... you don't actually have to inform yourself of the candidates and what they stand for, you can just go for the one that looks best in pictures :thumbsup

Al Sharpton should be pres just to say fuck the world!

I watched the last 40-50 minutes of it. Nobody really impressed me very much.
I guess I'm at the point that there are a few people I'd vote for gladly, some I'd vote for because they aren't Bush, and a couple that would make me seriously consider moving to Canada. :1orglaugh ETA - Hey! I made 100 posts. Yay for me! |
I watched the debate (if you want to call it that).
It was the worst debate I've ever seen... it was like a free for all up there, that lady did no moderating at all. Clark looked bad... did a lot of backtracking up there and all the other candidates were sticking it to him good. The worst part of the whole debate, regardless of who you like up there is when the moderator interrupted Howard Dean during his 1 question and asked him about a smear paper that she had just recieved from Kerry's camp. I have never seen anything like that in a "real" debate... I think Howard Dean handled it well by just stating the truth about the document. (The smear said that Gov. Dean supported taking away health care for the elderly... taken out of context it's bad, Dean actually wrote the letter to the Republican state congress of Vermont telling them that in order to balance the budget they either pass a cigarette tax or cut the health care - they opted for the cigarette tax) Hopefully CNN does better next time... btw, did you notice that Kerry got to chime in on like 5 questions... I started to think he was the only candidate there :winkwink: |
