acid bath is one of my favorite bands...if you like that you might wanna check out the lead singers other bands Agents of Oblivion and Deadboy & the Elephantmen...tho they not nearly as heavy or 'evil' as acid bath. more mellow type stuff.

i'm sure you're aware of morbid angel and cannibal corpse, but there was a band called ripping corpse whose music is worth finding. immolation is very kewl, and we saw a band playing with them called grave that have been around since 86 and they were dark and loud.

penis flytrap if you like horror punk, but watch out for their slow songs. NOT as good as the faster ones like bella donna and tears of blood.

someone mentioned Tiamat, i'd have to say "The Astral Sleep" is their best, most dark and doom oriented album

GO! I can't see cradle for a while (an ex who is a massive fan who will be at every show) but they were great when I went. Plus they have Sarah Jezebel Deva...mega sexy BBW singer.

Type O Negative are amazing live. I've seen them 4 or 5 times over the past 10 years.

Cradle Of Filth are decent too, though I hessitate to consider them black metal. They're extreme but they're no Immortal or Marduk.

Sarah's very pretty! She's chubby, I don't consider that BBW... :) We got to hang with her and Dave after the show. They were waiting on Sammy from Goatwhore. If we didn't have to come home right after the show to let the baby sitter go home we could have went out and partied with the rest of the band.. That would have ROCKED!!

If we can find a baby sitter for the weekend they are playing out in Texas with TON we're definitely going!
