IMPAI Throw Down.
 

Lots of talk these last few months about Acacia. So many people pressuring Homegrown and IMPAI to get up donation links, ect. Then when they do Homegrown reports minimal donations mostly by the little people in this business. Many have given what they can, others are giving when they can, and a few are helping out in other ways.

As it has been clearly shown we as an industry need to come together. There can be no if ands or buts about it. It needs to be done now before we are ripped apart at the seems. We must set aside the politics and just throw caution to the wind. We can work out the finer details later, this matter is bigger than our pety issues. We have a common enemy and we can fight. Homegrown has taken this responsibility on and the least we can do is actually support them for the betterment of us all.

Here is a simple challenge, put your money where your mouth is. If this board can easily raise well over 50k in prizes for a post award, we surely can raise some funds for Homegrowns defense.

Offer up some cash in here, post a deal where a certain portion of the proceeds will go to IMPAI, offer up some things people can buy that you will donate the funds to IMPAI, give something that can be turned into cash for them.

Lets keep this public despite the worries of Acacia seeing what we are doing, show them we are standing together and will not stop fighting until the bell rings or we are pulled off the mat.

I only ask 4 things of you.
1. Offer it publicly.
2. Be prepaired to confirm the money was sent publicly.
3. If you know someone that did not delivery what was promised, post it with proof.
4. No trash talking each other in this thread, except where it goes against #3.

I will start this now, I can offer up any non pre sold out advertising packages or offers on my site (free-adult-content) to as many people that wish to buy them. I will give IMPAI 90% of all the proceeds generated. I just need the 10% to keep it operating. This is webmaster traffic.

Too bad it wasn't easy for some of the supporting sponsors to lower payouts by a couple bucks and donate that money, only for affiliates that wish to do so. That would be great.

Or even better.

SPONSORS offer $1 or another low dollar amount per join affiliates send. Great marketing potential there that also contributes. This could easily rack up a couple hundred dollars a day per sponsor, plus bring in new affiliates and traffic.

Just a thought.

Please remember that Homegrown is not the only one fighting- there are more members in the Defense Group.

Greg at Videosecrets has put in an immense amount of time and $ on this.
I won't name the others, some don't want to be named. I'm sure they'll post if they want to voice their personal opinion.


The other thing to ask yourself is who is the last line of defense against Acacia besides the group fighting now?

I am aware and I am sure others are aware that there are more members in the defense group, I should have mentioned a few companies from the start but can not easily recall which desire to remain silent or semi silent. I did not desire to mess that up for them if they chose that route.

There are people donating time, a few companies publicaly saying they are giving money, and I am sure many non large companies or individuals that have given funds up.

This is just an attempt to shine some light on people to see if they will stand up publicly and pay what the promise. Since alot of things around here appear ego driven, figured this would be a chance to use that.
