Ok, I bought a laptop 2 years ago with the Performance Service Plan, which included the No Lemon Policy (After you have needed 4 repairs, they will give you a brand new computer).

I have brought my computer in for:
1)replaced CPU (probably expensive)
2)replaced motherboard ($440)
3)replaced memory or something valued around $730 (current repair)
4)replaced battery ($100)

Now, these cocksuckers are saying I've only had 3, because the battery doesn't count as a repair. Those little grunt assholes have told me on 3 different occasions that the battery FOR SURE would count as a repair. So, now I need another repair to even get the new computer (whenever I get mine back from this fucking repair).

Anything I can do?

go there,get a manager, and go nuts, but in a calm way.. dont cus dont get mad, just get loud.. tell this if this is the way you are going to be treated then you dont have a problem taking your biz elsewhere
and if that dont work, just pay the repair bill and count it as a loss

make sure u go in when its really packed and interupt sales people when they are busy with people saying " i had this deal and they wont fix it, i wouldnt buy from here again "

Jeez, a battery is not a fucking repair item.

They only last for so long then you have to replace them. Seems like you've had it 2 years so I see why they don't count it as a repair item.

Get a life man. It's people like you who make it harder for those of us with real problems.

Best Buy encourages employees to lie about things. Always check with a supervisor at the least.

Depending on your plan you may need to microwave your computer for a second or two, and tell them it fried so you can get a new one.

I bought a video card for my little brother for his birthday a few months ago from Best Buy... only it turns out he had bought a new one the week before.

So I head back with my reciept and the unopened vid card. What should have been a simple "alright, the reciept is valid and the item is unopened, give him a refund" turned into fucking 20 questions with the manager.

I was so pissed off by the time I left that place... I couldn't fucking believe that he grilled me for 5 minutes about the card.

Lesson learned... I hate Best Buy managers.

as bad as it is... i work for bestbuy... so i know what ur doin bro.
i hate their policies and whatnot.. but there are ways around all their service plans... just short something out every few months and u get new shit. ive done this with my camcorder... i bought a jvc for $900... sent it in twice for actual problems...(head replacements) then once broke the ejecting mechanism and then once the battery terminals.. i poured a small amt of acid on it to corrupt it... i wind up 16 months later with a brand new canon camcorder worth $1100 hehehe.

so yea.. open the case up.. fry the HD.. and u will get a new one...
