I would imagine his $ is frozen. He basically said fuck you to the gov't after several warnings.

The dude is nuts. Kids don't have credit cards and why push them to adult porn? Sell them barney or toys or anything else. Pretty hard to defend his actions as a business plan versus a sick mind.

BRISK 10-08-2003 11:46 AM

The defendant registers Internet domain names that are misspellings of legitimate domain names or that incorporate transposed or inverted words or phrases. For example, he registered 15 variations of the popular children's cartoon site, www.cartoonnetwork.com, and 41 variations on the name of teen pop star, Britney Spears. Surfers looking for a site who misspell its Web address or invert a term - using cartoonjoe.com, for example, rather than joecartoon.com - are taken to the defendant's sites. They then are bombarded with a rapid series of windows displaying ads for goods and services ranging from Internet gambling to pornography

fuck him in the ass :321GFY

BRISK 10-08-2003 11:48 AM

The defendant will be required to give up $1,897,166 in ill-gotten gains.

This isn't an issue of Freedom of Speech on the Internet. It's an issue of slime on the Internet.

AMBER Alert Law

The ?truth in domain? provision makes it a crime to:

(a) knowingly use a misleading domain name with the intent to deceive a person into viewing obscenity on the Internet

(b) knowingly use a misleading domain name with the intent to deceive a minor into viewing material on the Internet that is harmful to them.

This guy had plenty of documented warnings dating back to 2001 from what I have read. He is nothing but a moron.

KRL 10-08-2003 01:10 PM

Fuck him asking for us to chip in for his legal situation.

He dug his own grave and had plenty of heads up warnings but chose to tell the Feds to go fuck themselves thinking he'd get away with his domain scamming.

Now he's paying the price.
