Just get a power adaptor and an aol account or something similar that you can take with you and allows you to dial in from your hotel.

Having just come back from Paris.. there are a ton of internet cafes. The trick is to find one that will let you jack in via Ethernet...

lotta inetcafes there ask at your hotel or use the minitel system they have but you wont be able to plugin their ethernet no oh and get a 230 VAC adapter otherwise youre laptop will act funny :)

one tip : check your software etc , theyre asking non EU travellers lately to open and start their laptops since some idiot managed to put a bomb in one..

there is dialup from the hotel, test the number first to make sure its not a toll number, i found a few dialup numbers that charged me nothing from the hotel and other thats were crazy.

internet cafes are also good and they are all over the city
