They started playing at a tiny coffee house in the town next to mine. As a teenager I'd hang out there and see them all the time, but I never really liked them much :winkwink:

All the sudden one day they got picked up and they were on MTV.

Yea, I knew they started in Jersey, I think they're based out of NY now. They've got mad talent - this whole thread seems to be hardcore & punk, I personally hate that shit but to each his own. These guys have got real emotion - that's what turns me on to music - I see them as being like a modern-day Zeppelin but most people haven't even heard of them. Anyways, cheers. :glugglug

I just saw AFI on the 2nd in Austin at La Zona Rose with Bleeding Through. They put on an awsome show, they always do. It was my 3rd time to see them!
