I think I probably know who you are talking about :)

MetaMan 10-07-2003 02:13 PM

keep tons of affiliate programs under your belt,
what i notice is whenver i update a switch on a new program (not new sites) my signups go up. so keep rotating and you will see a change imo.

NaughtyJenn 10-07-2003 02:13 PM

try me :)

Theo 10-07-2003 02:16 PM

do they have cascade billing? From now on any program without cascade billing will face serious problem.

please explain why you think cascading billing is so great..

do you think programs that use cascading billing are that much better..

Do you think that one credit card company will take another company's rejects? And do you think that webmaster programs are going to pay top dollar for 2nd chance signups?

And when chargebacks are so risky now, do you really want to process someone's card that another place wont take?

Chris

Pretty much. Cascading is the way to go. Every paysite should have at least 2 CC billers. Epoch, CCBill, and throw in Jettis as well.

Martin 10-07-2003 06:40 PM

Most likely top bucks cause that's what I've been seeing there.

BlackCrayon 10-07-2003 06:41 PM

anyone notice that sales seem to do ok at the beginning of a sales period then totally drop off in like a week? i don't understand why the beginning of sales periods should have any impact on sales.

i know what you mean mr pheer, and its very frustrating for all of us. i've been doing this since 98 and this year has had the most unstable sales i've ever experienced, from doing well one period to doing horrible as hell the next with the same sponsor, traffic, ect.

I DEFINATELY know who you are talking about now.

pimplink 10-07-2003 06:44 PM

chatbot traffic, on the whole, is unpredictable... depends totally on LOCATION and type of software. :2 cents:

im not speaking of any sponsor specifically but more so sponsors in general.

hmmm based on the description of the stats problem, ND would have been the right answer if he was saying that the LESS traffic he sent ND, the more $ he made ... the MORE traffic you send ND, the lower the $ -- go figure. At least, that's been my personal experience.:2 cents:

I think anyone that was using that sponsor, KNOWS who they are!

conversions don't just dry up overnight on the same traffic
