Hey, welcome to my world. I deal with 100 customers a day. 20 of whom have the same problem as you.

Fucking A T & T
 
On May 12 I went with SBC for my long distance service...and SBC told me that they would notify A T & T. I got a service bill from A T & T in June...no long distance calls...just a service bill. I called A T & T and told them that SBC was to have notified them that I no longer required their service. A T & T claimed that SBC did not notify them. I said OK...I will pay this one last service bill...and I am personally informing you to cancel my A T & T service. He said OK as of that moment the service would be cancelled.

Each and every month since that day I have continued to receive a service bill from A T & T...with a difference...a service charge for non payment being added to each bill. Each and every month I have called them and told them that I have cancelled my service each and every month since May. I just received another bill and this time I demanded to talk to a supervisor and pretty much let it all hang out. The supervisor cancelled all charges and assured me that I will not get another bill next month. I will just have to wait and see...as that is what I have been told since June.

Good point. And GOOD F'n luck. Not going to happen. No one at a phone company has authority to do this. TRUST me on that one.

That will not get my current cards cancelled and fortunately I do not have any need for a credit report...good or bad...any longer. If worse came to worse...I can always get a secured card.

I just got off of the phone with a friend in Arizona...and he just recently went through the same shit with A T & T. I guess it is SOP for A T & T to keep billing you after you have cancelled them not once but multiple times. They probably pick up a sizable sum of money from this practice...as there are some that probably pay.

AT and T is run by a bunch of fucktards. I just switch to SBC a few days ago.

They billed me late, then charge me for the lateness. They even had some ghetto ass woman threaten me on the phone. "You better be straight with me, cuase I ain't playin' game here?" It was still half asleep when she called. Told her to fuck off, then cancel ATandT.
