Who watched MNF last night ?

What an incredible game. That was one of the finest comebacks I have ever seen. Not to mention it was done against one of the best defenses we have seen in the last 10 years. Hats off to Peyton Manning and the rest of the COLTS !!!

Keev 10-07-2003 10:06 AM

It was a great sports night period. i despise baseball all year and only watch it during tyhe playoff's. But that 9th inning, 0 outs and guys in scoring position and sox came through and held off them A's and won.... Then Colts come back in 4th qtr down by 21 and win by 3 what a night!

Oracle Porn 10-07-2003 10:06 AM

not me...

On-top 10-07-2003 10:06 AM

I watched. It was pretty entertaining.

Sharky 10-07-2003 10:07 AM

I was there the whole game, never leaft my seat.

Amazing, yet shameful. The bucs Defense gave up!
Warren Sapp had his ass handed to him on a platter.

wargames 10-07-2003 10:07 AM

hell ya it was awesome :thumbsup

Mutt 10-07-2003 10:07 AM

no, turned TV off right after the baseball game, had heard the score of the football game in the third quarter so didn't bother tuning in ............. DOH!!!

probably the greatest 4th quarter comeback in the history of the NFL.

Indianapolis looks to be for real as a SuperBowl contender. Tony Dungee is a great guy, must be on top of the world today.

bjs24 10-07-2003 11:58 AM

Ive went to a couple of Indy's games this year and there are plays where they look terrible and then there are times they look unstoppable like the fourth quarter lastnight. It looks like they will finally get a home game on tv Sunday. The first couple had been blacked out locally.

SCJason 10-07-2003 12:12 PM

No doubt Indy looks for real. I still can not believe how Tampa just broke down last night.

Ross 10-07-2003 12:17 PM

I missed it...

Technically that would of been the Raiders Hiedi game.

But for sure one of the top 3.

Unreal comeback Jason. Like much of America, I stopped watching and saw the highlights this morning to my amazement.
It was the greatest comeback in NFL history with less than five minutes left. You have to figure the game is in the bag, up 21 with just a few minutes left. Give Manning credit and Marvin Harrison. That guy is one helluva receiver. He's right up there with Moss and T.O. in my opinion.

sherie 10-07-2003 12:19 PM

I agree!! I have the Colts in my pool too!! Thank you Mr. Peyten Mannng sir!:glugglug

I take Harrison over Moss and TO any day. :thumbsup

nosey 10-07-2003 12:51 PM

what a game

the last few minutes were crazy... colts missed the field goal, then they get another shot @ it, which bounces off the post and goes in :1orglaugh

Angry American 10-07-2003 01:33 PM

The kicker needs some work. Plus, it took them a whole game to learn how to tackle too! Dumbasses! At least they pulled the V off.

Torn Rose 10-07-2003 03:08 PM

It was the greatest comeback ever, no one has ever come from down 21 and won with less than 4 mins left.

What a nutty game, starting off with the 77 yard TD to the Interception/Fumble/TD to the Colts backup RB?s running up the middle on that D to the two 2min warnings, to the FG?s that missed but the one that get?s tipped makes it.

I'm a huge Bucs fan, and live in Indiana, so I like the Colts as well, but during the 4th I was rooting for the Colts, Tony deserved that win.

Tony will be Coach of the year, anyone who can turn a D around from 26 last year to 8 (so far) this year knows how to fix a D

:thumbsup

Go Horse!

caspuh 10-07-2003 03:10 PM

the last penalty was bullshit. ball should've gone back to tampa after the first missed FG attempt.

makefuckingmoney 10-07-2003 03:12 PM

what a game:thumbsup

read the rules

The Dawg 10-07-2003 03:34 PM

It was a great game, the ending was a little tainted by the call tho'

BTW, Harrison is better than T.O. cuz he doesnt talk shit - he lets his play speak for him.

Peace.

Bansheelinks 10-07-2003 03:38 PM

the rules state you can't use anything as a catapult or to enable yourself to block a FG, such as climbing on someone's back etc.......

watch the tape............Simeon Rice touched NO ONE

he did what everyone else does on any other field goal attempt when they attempt to block a kick..........

that call was a fuckin' travesty that did mar a remarkable comback.......

I'm happy that it was Peyton Manning doing it and Tony Dungy coaching it as they are both incredibly classy.......

watch out for those Colts now.........they may be a more complete team than KC ( who didn't get charged for an obvious clip on Sunday as they were dominated by Denver )..........they may be the team to beat in the AFC..........but its still early

but man...............that fuckin' call !!!!!!!!!!!!!! the ref blew it bigtime

:feels-hot

GrimShawn 10-07-2003 03:40 PM

yeah it was amazing

Bears game with Oakland was the same, lots of good games this weekend

omg man yesterday was the day for tv sports, i never watch sports on tv but the redsox vs A's was amazing game,

we were watchin colts vs bucs in the first quarter and thought it was a laugh and turned back in the 3rd and watched from there, amazing the kicker was 12/12 and almost missed twice for the win!

ONE OF THE MOST EXCITING GAMES I HAVE EVER SEEN!

Platinum Josh 10-07-2003 03:41 PM

probably the most stunning football game I have ever seen

down 21 points with like 3:40 left

unbelievable!

Mike AI 10-07-2003 04:10 PM

Great game. Manning is best QB in the game right now.

TheFuckingPorn 10-07-2003 04:32 PM

fucking dumb americans. the game was set up, dudes.

Las Vegas called Peyton Manning in the last minites and things turned out......as it's supposed to..

fuck. I won this game btw.

Torn Rose 10-07-2003 05:26 PM

As stated last night,

No Player 1 yard FROM the Line of Scrimmage can jump and land in OR on another player *ON* the line of scrimmage.

He DID do that.

Was it the right call? (as done from the book)

YES

Do I think that call should have been made?

FUCK NO

But as the "tuck rule" proves *IT IS A RULE* and should be enforced until it is changed or removed from the books.

That call was as good as the "roughing the kicker" call not 2 mins prior.

Anyone blaming one call for a outcome of a whole game of penalties ( I think they said it was the most penalized game in MNF history) forgets the fact that the #1 D let 38 points scored in the second half of the game AT HOME.

Torn Rose 10-07-2003 05:41 PM

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1632537

Rule 12, Section 3, Article 2 of the 2003 Official Playing Rules of the National Football League defines the unsportsmanlike conduct/leaping penalty as follows:

"Clearly running forward and leaping in an obvious attempt to block a field goal, or try-kick after touchdown and landing on players, unless the leaping player was originally lined up within one yard of the line of scrimmage when the ball was snapped."

Bansheelinks 10-07-2003 05:54 PM

Torn Rose:

if that got called, EVERY SINGLE PAT & FG should have a penalty then.........

it was a dumb ass call

PERIOD
