Looking for references and experience with phatservers.net
 

Does anyone have any experience with them?

I'm looking for cost, uptime, stability, bandwidth prices for dedicated. Especially helpful if you can compare them to other hosting companies.

*I think sly is hitting on me, asking to say he's sexy.

I just got a server there, and so far it's great. Mike even answered all my imbecilic questions within minutes and got the few things that needed correcting done in no time.

Yah, I have only just switched over to them, but when I emailed asking for an install of imageMagick at 2am I got a response right away and the package was installed within about 2 hours total, no charge.:thumbsup

Mike and Brendan are the shit, hands down.

And I AM sexy damnit!

I have my personal sites (non_CE sites) there and their response time has been excellent.

I've had a server with them for over a year. Mike (their sys admin) provides excellent support and is usualy very quick to responsd, even on weekends and hollidays. Up time has been very good. I'd recommend them

Can anyone compare and contrast them to other hosting companies? ISPrime for ex.?

i have a server there and havent had any issues with it. tech support actually added a domain for me at 4am not 10 minutes after i emailed them about it (was expecting for it to be a when we get up thing, which would have been fine)

Is Brendan actually with them anymore? He was running BlackSeven which was absorbed into Phatservers, and now I don't think he is with them anymore.:2 cents:

I've been with them 2-3 years now, they are great, support is superb, I've gotten most replys back in as little as 5 minutes :thumbsup

I've heard nothing but good things about them, however I have never hosted. A good friend does and he is very happy.
