I haven't had a single telemarketer call since the 1st.. Can't remember that hapenning in quite the while..

Anyone else?

Having your number be unpublished took care of telemarketers long before the no-call database was ever thought of.
Although yes, for good measure, my numbers are also in the no-call database.

Think about what you could do if you were a telemarketer and got your hands on that database. It would be like a spammer being handed 50 million verified email addresses... pure fuckin' gold.

well i think that's the point of it.. telemarketers will have access to that database to scrub from their calling list customers that are on it..

LOL, I can't wait to here all the bitching rolling in from everyone who signed up to that list when the repuplicans pound them with fundraisng and political interest calls. Why else did they feel so much "compassion" to pass this law?

having an unpublished number does nothing. ours is unpublished as well but they called us the day we established it.

HOLY SHIT!! I am getting more now than ever before!

But these calls "are allowed" they are fucking politicians telling me to vote on tuesday.

I got 7 calls today, 6 yesterday and I forgot about previous days lol.

spend a few bucks on the phone companies privacy manager service. telemarketer calls will go down like to almost nothing.

the no call database was set up so that your number is only on the list for 5 years. if you do not renew your number on that list after 5 years all bets are off and i'll bet your number goes into the "ok to call" database. its kind of like putting your email address in a remove link, we all know what happens to your email address then.
