A type-in is not the same as a web search. Get your definitions straight.

a "typin" AT GOOGLE, would mean to me, someone typing something in at google, which as we know is a "search engine".

So to me, that sort of overrides the term "typin" which we know sometimes as a domain people typein their browser when looking for a .com (newbies mostly do this)

I know my definitions, it's all in how you want to make me sound like a goof.

it consists of people who aren't that knowledgable about typing in domains....I realized this when I was over a friends house and she was looking up my site....she knows what the domain name is but she still went to yahoo and typed it in the search box...

Some people just don't realize that you can just type the domain in the address bar....

Well, there is a difference between searching for single girls and searching for specific sites. A lot of times when searching for single girls, they're looking for something specific. Maybe a specific shoot or pics, etc. But yeh, the people searching for specific sites always crack me up. Check out the search volume for sites like "bang bus", it's hilarious.

I have friends who do that as well.

They go to yahoo, type the url into the search and then click the link from the search results. Seriously dumb.

Yet this is probably attributable to sneaky webmasters putting pop up hell on mispelled domains.

And some surfers don't like to deal with that shit so they search for the correct url first.
