Wegcash..... let's get things straight
 

As we all know by now Wegcasg is down and the wegcash team is working on getting everything back up.
It is however not very clear to me why they went down. I know the registrar blocked the domain for spam reasons.

A while ago some things where posted about wegcash and some posts indicated that they might go down.
Here is the general line of that conversation:

It seems to me that this clearly indicates wegcash is going down just like "TelcoWeb, WSB, Globill, DMR, etc " went down.

WEGcash paid for an all expenses paid trip to bring professional spammer & hobbyist scammer Eric Suchomski AKA: Kingfoo/Picpile/Lingolizzard/bigmike/etc to them for a meeting regarding eric spamming their sites. Eric now is spamming for them.

Eric is currently under litigation for theft by Ron Levy [FantasyMan] among others. Including the programmer from his new cigarette program: lingolizzard.c0m, Eric ripped him too.. .

Anyway, this is just a heads up for others to watch out for eric/KF/etc, who has moved to spamming for weg and trying to get sales/webmasters for lingolizzard, since his list sources have dried up.

So what's the deal? Did they go down due to a registrar who recieved spam complaints because one of the wegcash affiliates was spamming or is there something more to this?
Not pointing any fingers here, just trying to get the facts.

Since there are few threads running here I?d like to address some comments that have been made on this board.



- WEGCash does not spam, WEGCash for those of you who have been living under a rock for the past 5 years has been running the Join4Free email program. This is a double opt-in email program, not some spam operation.

- As to any suggestion that WEGCash webmasters need to worry about their checks bouncing, this is complete nonsense. WEGCash has been paying webmasters on time every time since (1999) and will continue to do so. As has been mentioned by Tonda already, we intend to compensate webmasters for downtime that was caused by issues completely outside of our control.

- With regard to the smart comments that we willingly and knowingly accept spam traffic, this is absolutely not true. WEGCash only accepts opt-in email traffic, if an affiliate is found to be in violation of our policy their account is terminated. It is as simple as that.



Now for those of you who are living in some dream world and operating under that assumption that there is a single program out there that has not had to terminate an account for spam, keep on living the fantasy. This can and does happen to affiliate programs of all sizes and it is an unfortunate reality of the industry we operate in.

now..i personally had a program shut down because it was a domain registered thru godaddy..

I saw the complaint..it was ONE complaint

It is almost impossible not to get 1 complaint every now and then..and yes..godaddy will shut people down awfully quickly..weg cash's only mistake..was having the domain at godaddy..

Fuck that........ godaddy should be shut down just for doing that and they should cover the losses wegcash had because of their actions :2 cents:

It is well known the hostility that godaddy has with this industry, and will use any excuse to yank domains.

WEG has nothing in common with DMR and other comapnies that were poorly managed....
