This will be my first trip to Vancouver for the Webmaster summit.
What should I see,what should I avoid.
I know most of my time will be meeting new people and working deals and partying my ass off.
So lets hear the good stuff and the bad.

the Grouse Mountain Skyride if it's a clear day
a Canuck's game :)
Walk Around downtown: it's beautiful and fun and you won't get mugged, but you will be offered a hell of a lot of weed. :)
Ginger's is a very cool lounge/club on Granville, I believe. Excellent atmosphere for schmoozing over drinks and interesting appys.
If you like architecture and old houses, check out Shaughnessy area and the UBC Endowment Lands.

screaming children at the zoo and science centre

We are planning a major vip event for Vegas with a number of our partners in crime. Want models? We will have a ton, want, drinks, food, party stuff?....we will have that also! We are letting Scooter go off and play while we plan ou Vegas events. :Graucho

Vancouver is huge for people who haven't been here before. There is so much to see and do. I would suggest searching the net for main tourist attractions. I'm not even sure what they are anymore.

But Stanley Park is one you NEED to see. :)

But stay away from anyone complaining of having a fever, cough, shortness of breath, dificulty in breathing :2 cents:

Everyone has that. That's pollution in a metro for ya ;)

Do i need a car if I stay in the hotel? Is this a taxi town?

Yup plenty,I would suggest staying at the Bayshore.Perfect view of Stanley park and the ocean and mountians. Will be a short taxi ride to the events:glugglug
