Weird...All dogs in neighborhood are howlin' like monkeys.

Ain't too keen on dogs howling together like this in earthquake country.

Hue G. Pness 10-04-2003 09:41 AM

I wouldn't worry probably just some alien space ships or some shit.

pimplink 10-04-2003 09:41 AM

Time to test that earthquake theory.

ThunderBalls 10-04-2003 10:08 AM

Too wierd. I dreamed last night that an earthquake hit California.

Spunky 10-04-2003 10:10 AM

The day before the big Northridge Quake in '94 my dogs and cats were acting really weird and nervous. I didn't think much of it at the time either. One of my females shepherds was even shaking all day but I was thinking she was getting sick.

Animals seem to be able to sense the precursor ground vibrations of what is about to happen. The earth stressed rocks probably generate some kind of high frequency sound waves past the range of human ear capabilities, but not the canine range.

Good luck, but you have to face the reality that another big one is long overdue.

When they said the '94 Quake wasn't the big one yet, that's when I knew it was time to get the heck out of LA. Not gonna wait around to meet that fellow.

Well said KRL. There's overwhelming data based on what you've said. A friend of mine is one of the top geologists in the world. He used to practically run the old Gulf Oil company before he went into retirement. He told me that animals do indeed have sensory perception that precedes an earthquake and so do people. We humans just don't have our attention on it when the symptoms occur.

swedguy 10-04-2003 10:31 AM

Where in CA are you?

irishfury 10-04-2003 10:36 AM

damn and I though I was howling because of a full moon damn....

We had a decent sized earthquake here a few years back. The day before it my cats were acting very odd...anxious, talkative, and generally not themselves. I commented to my kids that if we lived in Cali I'd been wondering when the quake was coming. The next morning we had one that was 6.8.

Just looked up some hearing range comparison info.

Human hearing range is 20hz and 20,000hz

Dog hearing range is 50hz and 45,000hz

Cat hearing range is 200hz to 100,000hz

So the critters can clearly detect vast amounts of ultrasonic sounds way beyond our abilities.

Also, dogs can hear to a distance 20 times that of humans.

A dog can begin hearing the distinct engine sounds of his owner's car heading home up to a mile away. This explains why dogs often get up and go to the front door to eagerly await their master's arrival several minutes before they are even close to home.

That's freakin' SCARY.

Cats are like not from Earth. When I see a cat or cats acting weird I go on red alert.

Believe it or not I was 100% accurate on Earthquake predictions. It's logged publicly too. It started like in '83 and hasn't failed yet. I can't always tell WHERE the quake will occur but I know WHEN it will occur at least 72 hours ahead of time.

Dr. told me that I just have a sensitivity to electromagnetics. It used to freak my supervisors and guests out. They recorded everytime I had one of these and sure as shit it would happen. My friends would freak out. I remember the Northridge quake. I was in NY and knew something was wrong and called a girlfriend who worked out here in LA at Disney. I asked her if everything was alright and told her I felt 'weird'. 12 hours later Northridge and she was at the epicenter where all the shit happened and people got killed. Weirder still, no one could get through to her by phone but I went over to the phone soon as I heard about it, picked it up and went to dial and she answered!!! I must've hit redial or something but sure as shit she answered! No one else could get through and lemme tell you, she was scared to death. Whole house got demolished and an apartment building across the street collapesed.

Freakin' scary shit.

Fascinating!

It's so cool when you are gifted with extraordinary sensory abilities. I have that stuff going on too. Still freaks me out after all these years of precogging events when they then indeed happen. Don't know exactly how it works, but it does work.

I know! I worked for a paranormal magazine. One of the biggest on the web. Got to talk to people about this stuff alot and NO DOUBT people have these abilities, they vary from person to person though.

If you have it, use it for good. Don't chop yourself down or get scared. It's just one of them things.

It's when them big time 'psychics' show up that really gets me, the ones that claim they can do this or that and don't do squat. When they prove it it's another matter.
