I can't get my fucking email to work. It always says "relaying denied"

anyone know how to fix this?

I can receive fine, but I can't sent.

My SMTP info is correct, and I can send email to myself, but once I try to send something to someone outside it always says "Realying denied"

some ISP's block port 25 from relaying mail. Cox cable does that... IF that is the case... you are shit outta luck.

Cox doesn't, what server are you using, there is smtp.west.cox.net smtp.east.cox.net and central.west.cox.net - Just check it out! I use the west.cox.net!

call your ISP(email provider), if they say they can't help, get another provider.

you're using an ip to send mail that is not allowed by the mailserver. You need to use your regular ISP account or ip to send mail or contact the admin of the mailserver and get them to add your ip.

in options, set it to authenticate, using same password. for smtp.
