When you make galleries for the members area of a paysite...
say you have 100 images, are you better off putting them all on 1 page, or do you divide them up into smaller sectrions, say 20 on each page?
does it matter? Since it's the inside of a members area and not a tgp gallery, I'm don't care about using up bandwith or anything. I dont know if members like having them all on one page or if they like clicking to another gallery to find more in a series of pics. |
i'd seperate them, if someone is on dialup ( God help their soul ) then they are screwed for a few minutes

also, gives you more ad space if you choose to do so, and it makes it seem like you have more content...

All of our sets have around 100-200 pics and I divide them up into pages of 20 each using thumbs plus. I think it gives them a sense that there is more pics if you have multiple pages plus it titilates them a bit more going from page to page, instead of seeing all of the pics in one hit.. :)

I do ALL of them on each page and just make the thumbs very small in size - i`ve tested on dialup and they load pretty good.
