VeriSign calls halt to .com detours
 

Welp, it appears that it's finally over (hopefully). It's still up for me, how about you?

I suppose it may take some time to propagate out of the root servers (DNS).

VeriSign, the administrator of the .com and .net domains, shut down its new SiteFinder service on Friday after the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers ordered the company to undo controversial changes.
