The Ultimate TGP

If all the people who submit TGP galleries could create THEIR ultimate TGP, how, if at all, would it differ from the TGP model as it stands.. Is there room for improvement, and if so, how so? I am doing a little research into some ideas, and input would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks folks.

Pics on html pages.

Less pics in the galleries.

Some basic TGP2 stuff, but that didn't quiet take off.

I've heard a lot of people say though that TGP2 is the superior TGP model. In fact, they claim to have far superior conversions with the aggressive advertising allowed in them. Is TGP2 dead now or is it waiting to emerge somewhere in the wings when TGP has it's final bravo (if that time ever comes).

Whatever the site, people need to learn how to reply to emails. If I contacted 15 people last week, you can bet that 14 of them never replied. Ignorant fucking children.

DEAD!

Reply to what kind of emails? Support emails?

It's not dead, but I'd be surprised if all the sites combined are doing 500k a day.

It's a good model, but there's no traffic. If you can find a TGP2 that sends you 30 hits a day on a first day listing you're doing well.

TGP2 traffic is low but the quality is great. If more people got into it and fed decent traffic it could probably be pretty successful. Right now I'm having trouble even finding 50+/day trades though. Alot of them still don't/won't use trade scripts.

Any kind of email that requires a response.

Example, I contact a site owner, using the email address provided on their site, because I'm interested in buying advertising spots. I expect a reply with one of the following two things:

1. Sure, here is my rate sheet...

2. Sorry, we don't sell advertising spots / we are fully booked.

Do you think more traffic would improve it, then?

Would it be feasible to funnel TGP traffic to a TGP2 site? Has anyone tried?

Yeah.. I can imagine that would be frustrating.. but putting the shoe on the other foot, don't tgp owners get inundated with email?

What I'm really interested in is what WEBMASTERS want to see... There has to be a balance out there, but I need more input to work on these ideas I have..

Depends on the quality of the TGP sending the traffic I guess. My TGP2 is thumb preview, so maybe from a text only TGP the productivity would be ok. I tried trading with some CJ's, they weren't too productive. Other TGP2's do ok. The only other trade I have is with porndirectory.com and for some reason that's really productive and it's listed among a bunch of regular TGP's.

Pics on html.
Massive "Sample" watermarks on images.
Allow for agressive marketing. No popups and stuff, but allow for more than 3 links to the sponsor. Some tgp's are so anal about that.
Limit of 8-10 pictures per gallery.

But alas, it'll never happen.

Most definitely.

I did a lot with TGP2 when it got started. There was a lot of in-fighting regarding "rules" and such. I've heard that that's no longer an issue.

To be honest... a heavy amount of messages is no reason for a site owner to be ignorant. When 95% of emails are never replied to, it's a little more than "it never arrived" or "it was spam filtered".

It's especially true when there are money earning opportunities involved... quite simply, there are too many lazy people and ignorant clowns involved in adult... when instead they should never have strayed from their stupid little circle of friends on the IRC warez channels.

Of course, the ideal situation would be for all of these people to die an extremely painful, bloody death. :1orglaugh

True... support is a huge issue no matter what you're dealing with.. and essentially, you're making the tgp owner money as well, at least in theory... Kicking a gift horse in the mouth isn't very productive. Anyways.. still coming up with some ideas here... any other input would be great.

The submit pages wouldn't have fucking pop-ups........ some TGP/MGP owners seem to think that gallery submitters have their cc ready to buy porn. Grow a braincell goddamnit!

One thing I found is that you have to make damn sure your gallery pics are as small in KB size as possible, whilst still remaining clear. Holy fuck can your bandwidth get eaten up fast.

Link the pics to an HTML page. (Some tgps don't allow this though).
Provide a link back to your main hub site (not just the sponsor, this way you get some return hits).

I found that worked really well for me personally. Oh yeah, and last but not least - UNIQUE CONTENT. lol. I got pretty sick of seeing 5 of the same girl, different pics on a 30pic per day TGP.
