This is for Republican adult webmasters

How are your plans for moving to mainstream coming along?

How will your life look without the income you've grown accumstomed to?

You keep voting right-wing.

That's your choice.

But when the rug gets pulled out from under the porn industry, make sure you're ready.

You're attacking your own livelihood, so make sure you're ready for the coming change.

With term number two the attack on porn will come full force.

Why shouldn't it? it's not as if they would have anything to lose.

And you're sinners anyway so you opinion doesn't count.

That's just the way it goes.

i focus on softcore. So to be honest, I wouldnt even care if there was a huge crackdown. I think there is some companies that deserve it.

I think from a logical point of view, changes will be coming. A kid cant walk into a stripclub or adult bookstore without an id, but they can go to a website and see tons of hardcore porn?

Also, I dont think its good to pick a president on the sole basis of who has a softer stance on porn.

"Republican Adult Webmaster" is like an oxymoron really. I mean, Republican ideologists believe you're worse than drug dealers and murderers and would rather lock you away for life just for peddling porn. If you don't believe me, look to the man who replaced Janet Reno and see if I'm wrong. ;)

Anyone who's on GFY and still a Republican should reconsider their political affiliations and ponder as to whether or not their undying loyalty to the party is appreciated by those in power.

There's no explaining it to some people.

Some people are just too dumb.

This thread should be a magnet for them, so you can see who's sites not to promote, since they won't be around much longer.

Please elaborate.

jas1552 10-03-2003 11:13 AM

Copa (had it not been ruled unconstitutional) would have required sexually explicit material on the internet to be behind an electronic age barrier. With punishment for non compliance being huge fines and jail time. In other words no more galleries or freesites. AVS only or jail. So using your logic anyone who makes galleries or freesites or puts any porn on the internet other than behind an AVS and votes democrat (or at the very least supported Clinton) is a dumbass idiot.

Edit: where I say "AVS" I should have said "AVS or paysite"

I'll wager that the aggregate net worth of the porn webmasters on this board who vote Republican is easily 2 to 3 times that of the aggregate net worth of the porn webmasters on this board who vote Democrat, even though the Democrats on this board outnumber the Republicans maybe 5 to 1 or so.

That's what speaks for itself.

Yes, but that is actually how he protected the adult industry. He made it legal, and set out clear rules (or tried) on how to run a site above-the-law. Bush/Ash. just want to outlaw the entire category.

That's what my question is, what exactly is coming? No one knows yet. I am more afraid of what Visa/MasterCard might do in the future, not any administrations.

I think there should be some regulation in porn on the net. All you "the sky is falling" ignorant people, seem to think the net would forever go unpoliced and that obscenity laws don't already exist. Adult stores/theaters offline can't show and advertise where they want, why should ones online be able to? If you believe it's ok for kids to come into contact with it, so easily... you are scum regardless of what political party you vote for.

I have no problem doing all I can to prevent minors from seeing my sites. In fact, I already do it. I do not need or want children viewing my sites or wasting my bandwidth and I also don't condone many niches like fantasy rape/murder, scat etc. If you chicken little people believe mainstream porn is going to be completely banished from existence, you need to learn a little more about what they plan on doing and targetting. Then again, if you are making a living off of children clicking your "free" porn sites or seriously demented people who enjoy fantasy rape sites, you probably don't give a fuck either way.

Well, that would make sense, seeing as how the Republican party is the party of the rich. They give tax cuts to the rich and try to find as many new ways to fuck the poor and middle class as much as possible.

Of course, there aren't enough rich people in this country to actually elect a Republican president, so that's where the fake religious worship comes in. The Republicans protect the moral majority from seeing boobies on TV or getting their guns taken away so they can't protect themselves at the KKK rallies, and in exchange get votes.

The poor get poorer and the rich get richer. Education spending is decreased so the voters don't attain the knowledge they need to actually vote intelligently and the cycle continues.

The internet is what it is because of advances made because of adult content and network use.

The net is very hard for them to control by the simple fact its world wide. So whats illegal in the USA is not illegal in Europe. They can go after individuals in the USA but cleaning up porn on the net, is close to impossible. The funny thing is most of the irresponsible stuff comes from the good ol USA, I get graphic spam all day long and its all American companies and sites with American third party processors lol. You can say all you want about the Democrats but the simple fact remains the biggest porn crackdowns in our life time have been done by Republicans. The Meese comission and now this.

AMEN

I also don`t enjoy giving out huge quantities of uncensored free porn - that just hurts my paysites sales when a surfer gets off on his way there via galleries.

When TGP`s are killed, AVS and PAYSITE owners will REAP the benefits, so will content providers- because of an increased interest in rare content for fresh sites & increased retention.

BUT there is NO " Republican " that is interested in destroying our freedoms - contrary to popular belief by alot of slow thinking and short sighted people on this board.

GET AN IMAGINATION and CONSIDER the LOGICAL POSSIBILITIES.

Where are the poor getting poorer? The standard of living in the US is better than its ever been. The problem is people are comparing their livestyles to ones they see on TV. People no longer are content with food clothing and shelter or 40 acres and a mule. Now they want 200 channels of satellite tv, two cars in the driveway and a house full of appliances. The US is a victim of its own success, few alive today can remember real hardship.

As for education that is a matter for the states and local government.

Agreed. I never said Democrats were any better, what I did say is that the idelogy that most Republicans in power (not Republicans on this board) believe in is 100% against all of us in the porn business. We're sinners and we're all going to Hell. To them (ie: Mr. Attorney General) we're lower on the totem pole than murderers and drug dealers selling drugs to 12yr olds.

Sure and democrats want to give money back to everyone except those who actually work for it. They expect the rich to support all the poor scumbags that don't work for a living so that they can live a lifestyle where there is no reason for them to get a job..
