IE really slow... freezing alot...
 

2.8 ghz p4 and 1gb ram, 256mb video card, 10gb free on primary drive...no extra programs running, defragged, cleaned out all unnecessary files...

any clue what would be causing such shitty performance?

That was my solution, but then again I'm lazy.

Honestly though I only got it cause I was fed up with IE but it's pretty badass. As well as bookmarks it lets you see all the links on a page, write notes right in the side panel, has a great e-mail client, etc.

Get a broadband connection. :1orglaugh

I run opera on the side, but I find as a webmaster IE is pretty much necessary

300k a second does the trick for all the other computers I have here... but a bigger line is probably the solution.

or have you tried running a cleaner? To get rid of all extra IE crap, and cache/cookies/history etc?

Do you have 50mil bookmarks?

Use Trillian Pro instead of ICQ/MSN/Yahoo/AIM seperate apps.
