BUSH Supports RUSH
http://www.drudgereport.com/mattrn.htm
Story here. NOT a very bright idea. Not that he doesn't have a right to defend his friend or speak out, but because of the firestorm brewing that will make anyone associated with Limbaugh a pariah politically. I'm not one for 'guilt by association' but Bush's enemies will definitely use this against him which ain't fair whether you agree with him or not. |
I really don't think Bush cares what his "enemies" think about him. Do you?

From one druggie to the next, I think it is admirable for druggies to stick together. I mean if Bush can go from a drunk and a coke abuser to president, I am sure Rush can pull through too (assuming the pressure does not get to him - Rush - and he takes a couple bottles full of the stuff and ODs). :1orglaugh

That's like a democratic candidate publicly associating with Michael Moore. It's tough to try and come off as a "compassionate conservative" while calling an extremist a "great American".
|
This is SOOOO ill.
If Limbaugh bites the dust we'll have Sean Hannity, Larry Elder to deal with. These guys are such assabsorbers it's pathetic. The right wing doesn't need these clowns. They should never have stooped to the lowbrow antics of the left. Heck we expect these kinds of shennanigans from the left but not the right and all it's done is brought the right down to the level of buffoonery. |
I thought I'd hear Tom Sawyer in this thread :winkwink:
|
The best part I like is when the President called Rush a great American. Lets see some great Americans : Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, FDR, Patton, JFK, any soldier that died for America, the fire fighters and policemen who died on 9/11. Can anyone tell me how Rush fits on this list ? lol

Despite the fact that I would love to stick Rush in a room with a bunch of Marxist skinheads, he got railroaded the same way Jimmy the Greek did for pointing out that slave owners used to selectively breed their ******s large.
All this rambling about right and left. All of you idiots are sheep. You need one to balance out the other. Who in their right minds would want a bunch of facists in birkenstocks running the country, the left will crush free speech and thought just as fast as a Bible thumper. Look to our socialist neighbors to the north. DRACONIAN hate speech laws. Why anyone on this board would support the "right" is beyond me and I have yet to read anyone giving anything resembling a coherent response as to why they would support a junta that would love to wipe their ass on the constitution and stick us all in prison sans due process. As would some extreme leftists. There are no neocons in porn, just as there are no Christians and Jews in porn. And if they claim they are, they are merely ignorant of the cause or religion they claim to belong to, or are simply deluded. Probably a combination of both. Where are the porn republican delegates at the National Convention? Can anyone point me to a website where republicans and neocons support the porn industry? This board and industry are here because some lefties fought and made it difficult to prosecute what the right deems obscene. If and when any of you get pinched (and it wont be many of you as most of you do not work in this industry) are you going to get yourself a nice conservative christian lawyer or a "lefty" who is going to piss into the pot of hegemony that seeks to destroy you? Stupid question. Each and every one of you will run to the ACLU. |
both are scum

I don't know if Rush's resignation was warranted. At the same time, I think Bush should probably qualify his statement that Rush is a great American. It's doesn't seem like an appropriate comment to make about somebody who may be involved in selling of illegal drugs.
Just fyi, I've never listened to his radio program and I watch very little football. |
Okay, what's happening here is the right wing are getting what they've dished out so long.
Rush's mouth wrote a check that his ass cannot cash. The drugs he's being accused of being trading and purchasing and worse 'conspiracy' charges are no joke. I doubt if he'll ever do any time, he'll get probation or a pardon by Pres. Bush. Yet from what's coming up regarding the people who sold him this shit, it's a scandal of immeasurable proportions because they're digging up connections like no tomorrow. Bush shoulda shut the fuck up about the situation until it was over. I suspect Texas is gonna be part of this drug shit and somebody will try to connect Bush to it even though he has nothing to do with it. Watch this shit closely boys, this is how politics and the press work. Rush needed the drugs cause he was ailing. He may have been desperate BUT that doesn't excuse the fact that he may have committed several serious crimes in doing so. No more than gosh knows how many other Americans needing pain killers. In his case he's rich, so drug price ain't an issue. Yet people in chronic pain are NOT acting on their best senses. Any of you who've had a killer toothache just magnify that shit by 10 and see what happens to your logistics. |
