Newbie Question: Content Producers

Hi, I'm fairly new to the adult industry and I've been trying to do some research on producing and selling content. A friend of mine is a producer, mainly doing small music videos, and was looking to getting into something a little more profitable.

I've read a couple of articles on various websites and I was wondering how content producers actually sell their content if they're starting off? We wouldn't have enough material to start up our own website, we don't know any reputable content brokers, and don't know anyone in particular who would want to buy content.

How does one get started? Thanks for your time.

sell your content through ounique and web-legal. they both have enormous existing webmaster bases, and are pretty reputable. i can tell you this - if you have average content, it won't be more profitable. talk to don mike at ounique and he can tell you what there are the most requests for, and what niches get the highest price per pic.

if you are the producers, do you have a business hours custodial location?

Hmm, thats thing i would also like to know. We started to produce own content at December last year - and still no sale or exchange although i am discussing on boards, advertising in google adwords, ...

Luckily we run own pages and our users like new original shots.

Thanks for the info BC. Do you have any advice about selling exclusive content or marketing?

We operate out of Vancouver (I'm not the producer). Business hours are 9-5 M-F, but we'll probably need to incorporate another company to do this.

I will be in Vancouver on the 23rd of this month. Look me up and I will help you out....Unless you turn out to be another idiot.
