I have all my stuff with godaddy now...
I got an e-mail from netsol yesterday saying that one had expired. And for a fee they could get it back for me. The sad thing is that it did not expire until the 15. So I transfered it to godaddy. |
Thanks god godaddy works good for me so far. Got a dozen of domains there.
Everythings cool with my account too
They fucked my account up. Lost one domain because of it.
I registered 2 domains there this week (one was today). Hope its good. All my other domains are at Dotster.
I have a buddy I am trying to help move his sites as well. same shit. The Host and godaddy pulling shit like this.
move it while you can. :thumbsup |
Can someone fill me in on the full story with the Godaddy problems? All of my domains are there and so far everything looks kosher. But why are people getting their shit jacked? False WHOIS information or what? :helpme

i have all my domains there and everthing seems fine. I have used them for several years now and they are great.
:) |
Working fine for me.. never had problems
all good for me
Mine is fine :)
Everything works for me. What exactly is godaddy doing?
I have been with Godaddy for a while now and have over 400 domains with them. Never a problem and fast suport, cheap registrations and easy to transfer from other more expensive places like Directnic and register.com.
Highly recommended!:thumbsup |
godaddy is pretty fishy, every domain i ever had stolen from me was someone using them
godaddy sucks...
A few years ago I was looking for a two domains and checking availability there. One i registered at that time. The other I decided to wait until the next day. I came back... typed in the domain and it was no longer available. Guess who bought the domain name? Yep, fuckin' godaddy bought it. A word of caution... they will jack yer domain queries IF you fail to register that moment and they think it's a good domain. I've been using namecheap ever since... zero problems and great support. |
I only use directnic. Have been since they opned their doors. Never a problem or concern there. I even sent in a trouble ticket last Saturday which was actually a stupid question and not a problem. I should have looked up the question myself if I wasn't a lazy turd. Anyway I got a courteous, complete, no b.s. answer within a few hours. I was pleasantly suprised given it was a weekend and all. Figured I'd get an answer on Monday.
Directnic :thumbsup :thumbsup |
everything works fine for me. I just registered a new domain with them an hour ago. All 50+ of my domains show up in my account as well :thumbsup
Godaddy has been merging a lot of accounts, so if you buy from them and have multiple accounts they now merge them all into one. Where problems start I find is once you go over 250 domains then there software starts to crap out. Recently they merged a few of my accounts and accidently " lost " 512 domains this was quiet stressful ;) as they had no idea where they had moved them too and neither did I.
I have all my domains there and no problem so far.
no problem here
